Class 2 Driver

HGV/Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver – Brighton
Pay Rate: £19.22 per hour (including holiday pay)
Location: Brighton
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Drop Driver to join a busy food distribution operation based in Brighton.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering frozen, chilled, fresh, and ambient food and drink products to a diverse customer base, ranging from independent cafés and restaurants to large corporate businesses.

Key duties include:

* Completing multi-drop deliveries across the local and surrounding areas (average of 16 drops per day)

* Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently

* Conducting daily vehicle walkaround checks

* Completing all required compliance and delivery paperwork

* Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point

* Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with company procedures and road transport regulations

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 6 months' commercial driving experience

* No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

* Good understanding of driver compliance and vehicle checks

* Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude

* Steel toe-capped safety boots are required
