Registered Nurse (Detox Service)

We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Nurses to support a specialist detox service based near Preston, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for Nurses seeking flexible ad hoc work with competitive pay rates and the chance to make a real difference within substance misuse and recovery services.

Shift Patterns

* Days: 07:00 – 19:15

* Nights: 19:00 – 07:15

Pay Rates

* £26.50 per hour – Days

* £27.50 per hour – Nights

* £40.00 per hour – Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality nursing care within a detox and rehabilitation setting

* Administer and manage medications safely and in line with protocols

* Monitor patient wellbeing and respond appropriately to clinical needs

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery outcomes

* Promote a safe, therapeutic and supportive environment for service users

Requirements

* Valid NMC registration (Adult Nurse or Mental Health Nurse)

* Previous experience in detox, substance misuse, mental health, forensic, or similar settings preferred

* Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

* Flexible, reliable and professional approach to shift work
