A growing Surrey-based software company is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Junior Automation Test Analyst to join its collaborative QA team. This role is designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and build skills in test automation, C#, and BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development).
The Opportunity
You'll receive hands-on training and mentoring while working alongside experienced QA engineers and developers. This is a chance to develop real-world experience in both manual and automated testing, with clear progression into automation or SDET pathways.
What You'll Be Doing
Learning how to analyse requirements and translate them into test scenarios
Assisting with the creation and execution of automated test scripts
Supporting the development of BDD (Gherkin) test cases
Contributing to manual testing across different software projects
Working closely with developers to improve software quality
Documenting test cases, results, and processes
Providing updates on your progress and any issues identified
What We're Looking For
A degree in Science, Mathematics, IT, Engineering or a related field (2:1 preferred)
A level Mathematics highly advantageous
Passion for technology and interest in software testing or QA
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and willingness to learn from others
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Any exposure to programming (C#, Java, Python etc.)
Awareness of software testing or QA concepts
Basic understanding of automation tools (Selenium, SpecFlow, etc.)
Relevant coursework, projects, or internships
