Our consultancy client are looking for a data specialist with strong experience in master and reference data management to support data governance/provenance work for a client in the energy sector. You will oversee master and reference data governance to ensure accountability, transparency and stewardship of master and reference data and help to develop, implement and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data consistency across different business units. You will oversee change management processes to evaluate, approve and implement changes to the master and reference data ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives. Facilitate engagement sessions and clearly communicate master and reference data related concepts and requirements to relevant stakeholders and provide training and guidance to the clients staff.

You must have extensive hands on experience in master and reference data management or governance and of data governance frameworks and practices. With the ability to manage and engage stakeholders from both technical and non technical backgrounds. Any DAMA certifications would be a distinct advantage. The role will require you to be on the client site in Berkshire or Warwickshire 2 days a week and the role will be inside IR35.
