IFS Technical Consultant - Outside IR35 - Hybrid (Stoke-On-Trent)

£450 - £650 per day (Outside IR35)

Initial 6-month contract

Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site at HQ in Stoke-On-Trent

Role Overview

An experienced IFS Technical Consultant is required for an initial 6-month engagement, supporting a major UK organisation with multiple critical IFS Apps10 initiatives. The role is Outside IR35 and requires on-site presence 3 days per week at their Stoke-on-Trent HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical development and customisation within IFS Apps10, including complex modifications.
• Support ongoing project workstreams, particularly the new warehouse site setup.
• Develop custom code, integrations, and configurations across Sales, Logistics, and Finance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform unit testing, and support deployment cycles.
• Ensure best practice in IFS technical architecture and performance optimisation.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with IFS Apps10 in technical development roles.
• Expertise in PL/SQL, IFS Developer Studio, and customisation in the IFS Build environment.
• Proven background delivering heavy code customisations.
• Understanding of IFS technical layers and application architecture.
• Experience supporting Sales, Logistics, and Finance modules.
• Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data migration, XML, and related technologies.
• Experience with warehouse/site rollout projects (beneficial).
