Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting young people and considering a future career in education? We are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in the Wirral area seeking a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to provide tailored support to students aged 11-16.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, or individuals with experience working with children and young people who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
The Role
You will work closely with students who require additional academic, social, or emotional support, helping them to engage positively with learning and achieve their full potential. Support may be delivered on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, depending on individual student needs.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
Have experience working with children or young people in any setting, including schools, youth clubs, sports coaching, mentoring, care, or community programmes
Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
Can build strong relationships and act as a positive role model
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Have an interest in education, SEND, psychology, youth work, or teaching careers
