About the Role

Momentum Recruitment and Training is seeking a proactive, motivated, and target-driven Learner Engagement Officer to join our growing Sheffield team.

This role is focused on generating learner referrals and enrolments across our Adult Education programmes. You will build strong relationships with employers, community organisations, referral partners, and local stakeholders to promote training opportunities and support adults into learning and employment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a people-focused environment and enjoys a combination of outreach, engagement, relationship management, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

*

Build and maintain productive relationships with employers, referral partners, community organisations, and stakeholders.

*

Promote Momentum's training programmes through outreach activities, presentations, events, and community engagement sessions.

*

Generate learner referrals and support enrolment targets across funded programmes.

*

Manage referral and learner information accurately, ensuring compliance with funding and internal requirements.

*

Work closely with tutors and internal teams to maximise learner starts and programme participation.

*

Represent Momentum Recruitment and Training at careers events, employability fairs, community events, and employer engagement activities.

*

Complete administrative tasks associated with referrals, enrolments, and reporting.

*

Provide regular updates and reports on engagement activity, referrals, and enrolment performance.

*

Work towards agreed KPIs and performance targets.

About You

Meeting or exceeding referral, recruitment, enrolment, or business development targets.

*

Delivering excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment.

*

Building and maintaining professional relationships that generate positive outcomes.

Essential Skills and Qualities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Confidence in networking and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

*

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

*

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

*

Target-driven with a proactive approach to generating opportunities.

*

Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities relating to young people and vulnerable adults.

*

Awareness of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion principles.

*

Knowledge of safe and healthy working practices.

*

Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
