Teacher of the Deaf - Primary Setting | September Start

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf to join a specialist primary provision in Barnet, from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of deaf and hearing-impaired pupils within a supportive and highly specialised educational environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to deaf and hearing-impaired pupils.
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with specialist staff, support teams and families.
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual learning plans.
Promote communication, independence and confidence within the classroom.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired pupils is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.Benefits to you

Full-time - 5 days a week
Opportunity for a permanent contract
Contract 12-39 weeks This role is available on a long-term basis from September and offers the opportunity to work within a highly rewarding specialist setting.
