Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining 360-degree excavators on various construction and excavation sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, experience with excavators, and the ability to undertake commercial driving duties when necessary. The ideal applicant will be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently across different site conditions.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with site preparation, loading, and unloading materials using the excavator.
Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes.
Support other construction activities as required, including assisting with ground works or material handling.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Perform commercial driving duties as needed, including transporting machinery or materials between sites.Qualifications
Proven experience operating 360-degree excavators in a construction or civil engineering environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic repairs.
Valid commercial driving licence (or equivalent) for operating lorries or transporting equipment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
Organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency.
Previous experience with excavators and mechanical systems is highly desirable.
