Position: Assistant Support Worker
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £20,406 per annum
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)
Fixed Term Contract until 28/02/2027
We are recruiting a part-time Assistant Support Worker to join our team at The Elms, a supported living service for people aged 55+ with physical health needs, mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
At The Elms, we work together to create a warm, inclusive environment where people feel respected, supported and empowered to live as independently as possible.
The Role
You will provide person-centred support that makes a real difference, including:
Supporting with medication and personal care in a dignified, compassionate way
Encouraging daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
Supporting residents to achieve personal goals and maintain independence
Organising local activities and community outings
Following individual support plans and risk assessments
Building positive, trusting relationships through collaborative workingWorking Pattern:
This role is offered on a 4-day-per-week basis, with a rota that includes a mix of early, late and sleep-in shifts. Sleep-in shifts are paid at an enhanced flat rate of £52.78 per shift.
