Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering infrastructure, roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, and renewable energy projects across Scotland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects and play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
·Setting out works in accordance with drawings and project specifications
·Carrying out site surveys and maintaining accurate site records
·Producing and managing as-built information
·Ensuring quality control procedures are followed on site
·Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery
·Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
·Assisting with RAMS, permits, and health & safety compliance
·Liaising with clients, consultants, and the wider project team
·Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery
Requirements
·Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering
·Experience working on roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, or infrastructure projects
·Competent using Leica, Trimble, or similar surveying equipment
·Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
·HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
·CSCS Card
·Full UK Driving Licence
