Are you a construction graduate or an ambitious Assistant Site Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Contracts Manager, Assistant Construction Manager, tradesperson or Project Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career?

We are a well-established, medium-sized Main Contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of public sector construction projects across education, healthcare, local authority, and community sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Graduate / Assistant Contracts Manager to work directly alongside an experienced Contracts Manager, helping oversee multiple live projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting development role offering hands-on exposure to all aspects of project and contract management. You'll gain invaluable experience managing multiple projects, working closely with site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors while building the skills needed to progress into a Contracts Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the Contracts Manager in the delivery of multiple construction projects.

- Assisting with programme management, project reporting, and client liaison.

- Monitoring progress, quality, health & safety, and commercial performance.

- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.

- Attending site visits, progress meetings, and project reviews.

- Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

What We're Looking For

- Construction-related degree, HNC/HND, or relevant industry experience.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Ambition to develop a long-term career in construction management.

- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

- Full UK driving licence preferred.
