Our client, who are market leaders in their field are looking for a Field Service Cleaning Technician.

You will be responsible for ensuring Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. The role focuses on cleaning ATM units, surrounding areas, and touchpoints to ensure a safe, professional, and customer-ready environment at all times.

You will be working independently, ‘in the field’, using a company van (which can also be used for personal use) and travelling to required areas on a daily basis.

Main Responsibilities include the following:

* Carrying out scheduled cleaning of ATM units across assigned locations

* Clean all external ATM surfaces including screens, keypads, fascia, and cash dispensing areas

* Ensure hygiene of high-touch points to reduce contamination risk

* Clean surrounding areas including floors, signage, and enclosures where required

* Use approved cleaning materials and methods to avoid damage to sensitive equipment

* Follow cleaning schedules, route plans, and service-level agreements (SLAs)

* Record completed cleans accurately using handheld devices

* Identify and report any visible damage, faults, vandalism, or security concerns

* Ensure sites are left clean, safe, and presentable for customer use

* Maintain company vehicle, stock, and cleaning materials in an organised manner

* Comply with all health & safety, lone working, and site-specific requirements

* Handle customers in a professional manner during difficult high-pressure situations.

* Communicate with all Cennox personnel involved with the accounts ensuring that our associates understand the level of service performance to which we have committed.

* Attend training classes to ensure fulfilment of Service Levels.

* Work well independently and in a team situation.

* Make recommendations for improving our service, reliability & performance

Skills and Experience

* Experience in cleaning, field-based roles, or facilities services (preferred)

* Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation standards

* Ability to work independently while following structured routes and schedules

* Comfortable working outdoors and travelling between multiple locations

* Basic IT skills for reporting via mobile devices

* Good awareness of safety and public-facing environments

* A flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn new skills
