Salary: £30,000-£37,500 DOE

A well-established manufacturing and engineering business is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join its workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience operating conventional machine tools and producing precision components to engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities as a Manual Machinist

Setting up and operating manual lathes and milling machines.
Manufacturing components to specification from engineering drawings.
Working to tight tolerances and maintaining high-quality standards.
Inspecting finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assisting with general workshop and machining activities as required.Requirements as a Manual Machinist

Proven experience as a Manual Machinist, Lathe Turner, or Manual Miller.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail.Salary & Benefits

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience).
Full-time, permanent position.
Stable and supportive working environment.
