Junior Executive Assistant, Office Support function, Office based – Central London, 5 days per week – Permanent Position
Salary Up to £40,000 (doe) - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
We are working with an exceptionally fast growing specialty insurance group based in the City of London who are looking to appoint a Junior PA / Team Assistant to support their Executive PA and wider senior leadership team.
This is a varied, office-based role that would suit someone with around 12 to 18 months’ experience in a PA, Team Assistant, administrative or office support role, ideally gained within insurance, financial services, legal or another professional City environment.
The role will involve supporting the Executive PA, covering during periods of absence, and providing wider support across the business.
Duties will include:
* Supporting the Executive PA with day-to-day administrative duties
* Managing and coordinating senior diaries
* Arranging meetings, calls and internal appointments
* Organising travel and accommodation
* Dealing with internal and external queries
* Preparing meeting notes and taking minutes where required
* Supporting cost control, expenses and general office administration
* Maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
* Providing flexible support across the business as required
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* 12 to 18 months’ experience in a PA, Team Assistant, Office Assistant or administrative support role
* Experience gained within insurance, financial services, legal or a professional office environment (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
* Confidence supporting senior individuals
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
* A calm, professional and discreet approach
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
