SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Provision – EYFS)
Location: Lambeth, SW2
Pay: £545 per week
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, term-time
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW2) is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their newly established autism provision from September.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support to children with autism and complex needs within the EYFS setting
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and communication development
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionalsRequirements
Previous experience supporting children with SEN (Autism preferred)
Experience or confidence working with EYFS pupils
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Patient, caring, and proactive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a teamBenefits
