To apply finishes, coatings, and paints to components and products to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to production schedules.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and masking as required
Mix paints, stains, lacquers, and coatings to the correct colour and consistency
Operate spray guns and related finishing equipment safely and effectively
Apply coatings evenly to meet quality and finish specifications
Inspect finished items for defects such as runs, overspray, or uneven coverage
Carry out minor repairs or rework where needed
Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in good working condition
Follow health and safety procedures, especially around ventilation and chemical handling
Work to production targets while maintaining quality standards
Liaise with production and quality teams to resolve finish issuesSkills and experience:

Previous experience in paint spraying,
Good attention to detail and steady hand for high-quality finishes
Awareness of health and safety in a workshop or spray booth environmentAdditional Info:

Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Rate; £14.00-16.00 per hour DOE
