Section Engineer / Sub Agent – Elgin

Start: Start of July 2026
Duration: 3 months (potential extension – plenty of upcoming work)
Hours: 07:30–17:00, Monday–Friday

We’re supporting a civil engineering contractor who are looking for a Section Engineer / Sub Agent to join their team on a bridge repair project in Elgin. This is a great opportunity for someone with structures experience who enjoys hands‑on engineering and being part of a focused, technical team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Overseeing day‑to‑day delivery on a live bridge repair

Setting out, QA and ensuring works meet spec

Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities

Ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are achieved

Supporting the Site Agent with planning, reporting and documentation

Working closely with the structures team on repairs, concrete works and temporary works
