Science Teacher (KS1-KS4) - Full Time
Start Date: 1 September 2026
About the Role
Our client, a specialist provision, is seeking a dedicated and resilient Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time position working with male students aged 7-19 who hold EHCPs and present with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD/PDA, and associated SEMH/complex needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of young people requiring tailored, therapeutic approaches to learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across KS1-KS4
Support students with complex learning profiles and behavioural needs
Create a structured, safe and nurturing learning environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and wider professionals
Monitor and track student progress in line with EHCP outcomesEssential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Science across relevant key stages
Demonstrable success working with autism and/or SEMH cohorts
Strong behaviour management skills and a flexible, patient approachDesirable
Experience within specialist or alternative provision settings
Understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic approachesWhy Apply?
