Key Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students with SEN needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties
Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to support academic progress and emotional wellbeing
Work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and pastoral staff
Help students remain engaged, focused, and confident in lessons
Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant OR supporting young people with SEND
Have worked in a secondary school or similar setting (highly desirable)
Are confident supporting ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
Are patient, resilient, and adaptable
Build strong, professional relationships with students and staff
Are committed to making a long-term difference in education
