We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Female Healthcare Assistant to support a friendly and sociable 28-year-old gentleman living in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a meaningful long-term relationship with someone who loves getting out into the community, trying new activities, and living life to the fullest.

About the Client

The gentleman lives at home with his family and their two cats. He has a busy social calendar and enjoys spending time in the community, attending activities such as pottery, drama, dance classes, yoga, and social groups. He is also a huge football fan and proudly supports Wolves.

Whether it's enjoying a hot chocolate, attending local events, or cheering on his favourite team, he loves keeping active and making the most of every day. We are looking for someone who can share his enthusiasm for life, encourage his independence, and support him to access the activities he enjoys.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide full support with daily routines, including:

• Personal care and showering
• Medication administration
• Meal and drink preparation
• Moving and handling using specialist equipment
• Hoisting and standing frame support
• Supporting community access and social activities
• Domestic duties within the home
• Emotional support and companionship

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from positive, patient, and committed individuals who genuinely enjoy supporting others.

Essential Requirements:

• Female applicants only (client preference)
• Minimum 3 months' care experience
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
• Confident driving a manual adapted vehicle
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and committed to providing consistent support
• Comfortable working around cats

Experience supporting individuals with Autism is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Why Join Us?

No complex care experience? No problem.

If you have at least 3 months of care experience, we'll provide all the specialist clinical training and ongoing support you need to develop your skills and confidence.

You'll benefit from:

• Competitive hourly rates of £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
• Full-time day shifts with regular hours
• Confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
• Ongoing clinical training and development
• Supportive management team and 24/7 on-call support
• Career progression opportunities

This is a rewarding opportunity to support a young man who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for care staff who will help him continue exploring new opportunities, maintaining his independence, and enjoying the activities that are important to him.

Please Note:
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Due to the nature of this role, female applicants are required in line with the client's preferences and care needs
