Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Crumlin
Salary: £32k - £35k+ Bonus Scheme
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Need to drive due to location!
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy car parts warehouse. This role is responsible for leading a team of 5 warehouse operatives, ensuring stock is accurately managed, orders are processed efficiently, and high standards of health, safety, and productivity are maintained.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong leadership skills within warehouse or automotive parts operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise, support, and motivate a team of 5 warehouse staff
* Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management of vehicle parts and accessories
* Monitor team performance and productivity to meet service and delivery targets
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
* Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
* Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
* Liaise with purchasing, sales, and transport teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
* Train new starters and support ongoing development of warehouse staff
* Drive continuous improvements in warehouse processes and efficiency
* Support with periodic stock counts and audits
* Handle escalated operational issues and resolve them quickly
Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
* Experience within automotive parts, motor factors, or similar stock-heavy environments preferred
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock management systems
* Ability to lead and develop a small team effectively
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills
* Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
* Forklift licence desirable but not essential
* A proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach
