Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with Surveyors to Education, a specialist consultancy delivering high-quality building surveying services to the education sector, as they look to appoint a Building Surveyor to join their growing team based on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor seeking a varied, project-led role within a friendly and highly respected practice. Working predominantly across schools, academies and educational estates, you will play a key role in delivering refurbishment, improvement and maintenance projects from inception through to completion.
The Role
Joining an experienced team, you will undertake a broad range of project-focused building surveying duties including:
Managing refurbishment and capital improvement projects across educational facilities.
Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
Contract administration and project delivery.
Carrying out condition surveys and preparing reports.
Managing project budgets and programmes.
Liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
About You
Applications are welcomed from Building Surveyors with:
A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
Experience delivering project-led building surveying services.
Knowledge of contract administration and specification writing.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
MRICS status is desirable but not essential.
