Facilities Operative - Wallingford

The Facilities Operative is responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of
the site, ensuring that facilities, equipment and external areas are safe, clean and
fully operational.

Main Duties: - Wallingford
Carry out general maintenance tasks across the site including:
Basic repairs
Equipment maintenance
Upkeep of buildings and external areas
Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
Respond to reactive maintenance issues as directed.
Assist with monitoring of site services and equipment to ensure safe operation.
Support regular safety checks, including identifying hazards and reporting
issues.
Assist with waste management and maintaining site cleanliness.
Support contractor activities when required.

Requirements

Experience in a maintenance or hands-on environment.
Basic understanding of health & safety practices.
Practical skills in general maintenance tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically capable of manual tasks (lifting, bending, etc.).
Full clean Driving License
