Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established sheet metal manufacturing company based in the Biggleswade area. Our client is looking to add an experienced TIG & MIG Welder to their skilled production team.

The Role

As a TIG & MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of sheet metal components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* TIG and MIG welding of sheet metal components.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Fabricating and assembling parts to customer specifications.

* Carrying out quality checks on completed work.

* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

* Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines.

Requirements

* Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding.

* Previous experience working with sheet metal.

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
