Service Advisor

Service Advisor opportunity in Poole, Dorset with our client, a well-established motor retail dealership. We are recruiting on their behalf for a skilled Service Advisor to lead the customer experience, manage service bookings, and support workshop productivity.

Benefits of a Service Advisor:

Basic salary of £27,000 per annum, with OTE up to £36,000 uncapped
Working hours 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday
Saturday flexibility only when required, paid at the overtime rate
22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after five years’ service

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering a professional service from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
Book in vehicles for maintenance and repairs, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey
Provide clear, accurate advice on required service and repair work
Upsell appropriate service and parts to maximise workshop productivity and customer satisfaction
Liaise with the workshop team to ensure timely completion and accurate status updates
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records and customer detailsRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a motor dealership or independent garage
Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused manner
Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
Proven rapport-building skills with customers and team members
