We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor in Guildford, Surrey. This role offers excellent earning potential, structured working hours, and long-term career development in a premium main dealership aftersales environment.
Benefits of the Service Advisor:
Basic salary £34,000 per year with bonus potential and an OTE of up to £42,000 (dependent on performance)
Monday to Friday hours 08:00–18:00, plus Saturday rota shifts

Sick pay and additional colleague benefitsDuties of the Service Advisor:
Welcome customers and confirm vehicle requirements, taking full responsibility for the vehicle during the visit
Plan and schedule work to support workshop capacity and meet customer expectations
Monitor the flow of work into the workshop, liaising with workshop control to keep jobs on time
Raise, process, and complete repair orders in line with established guidelines and standards
Keep customers updated on changes, including costs and expected completion times/dates
Manage accurate and timely invoicing, ensuring job extensions are properly authorised and recorded
Oversee vehicle presentation, including washing and vacuuming before handover
Complete thorough vehicle handover, explaining invoices clearly and advising on future requirements
Handle subcontracted repairs to ensure quality standards are met
Manage warranty and goodwill authorisations in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Maintain excellent housekeeping and support a safe working environment across front and back of house service areasRequirements of the Service Advisor:
Proven experience in an aftersales environment; customer-facing service support experience required
Automotive Service Advisor experience essential
Demonstrable track record of maximising workshop profitability through service scheduling and service sales
Confident communication skills, able to build rapport and manage expectations
Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism aligned with a premium brand
