We are currently hiring MIG Welders to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for fabricating to drawings or customer requirements in time to meet powder coating schedules and production requirements.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm
Rate: £15.19
Type: Temp ongoing
Location: Lye, DY9
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the manufacture of fabrications to drawings or customer requirements.
* Responsible for the completion of a wide range of fabrications to time to meet powder coating schedules/production requirements.
* Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements to produce components to the required standard.
* Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.
* Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained.
* Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
* Assistance in working for other departments when necessary.
* Any other reasonable duties in the welding area.
Requirements:
* Reliability and good communication skills.
* Able to use hand tools.
* Experienced MIG Welder
* Ability to read technical drawings although training will be provided for the right candidate
* IT literate
* Ability to troubleshoot
