On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Systems Design Engineer for a 12 Month Contract contract based in Derby (hybrid)
What you'll do:
Lead and support subsystem design integration across turbine projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth engineering integration.
Conduct data analysis and apply reliability and statistical methods to support design decisions.
Perform root-cause analysis to resolve technical issues.
Contribute to systems engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.
The skills you'll need:
Proven experience in systems integration or systems engineering.
Strong understanding of engineering integration principles.
Experience with data analysis, reliability, and statistical tools.
Ability to work across multiple teams and manage cross- project collaboration.
Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
