Salary: Up to £38,000 + Van & Fuel Card
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a leading property services contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services across social housing properties in East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with strong maintenance experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. Working across occupied residential properties, you will carry out a variety of plumbing repairs while also supporting wider multi-trade maintenance works to ensure homes are kept safe, functional and well maintained.

The Role

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties, focusing on achieving first-time fixes and maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance including leak detection, hot and cold water systems, immersion heaters, bathrooms and kitchens

Complete reactive and planned maintenance works within occupied properties

Undertake basic multi-trade works including:

Wall and floor tiling

1st and 2nd fix carpentry

Patch plastering and making good

Painting and decorating

Accurately record completed works using a mobile device

Work closely with supervisors, schedulers and support teams to ensure efficient service delivery

Follow health and safety procedures and complete relevant risk assessments

Deliver excellent customer service when working in residents' homes

Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota when required

About You

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Plumbing (or equivalent)

Valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate

Previous experience within social housing repairs and maintenance

Multi-trade experience including tiling, carpentry, plastering or decorating

Full UK Driving Licence

Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements

Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
