We are currently supporting a secondary school in their search for an enthusiastic and talented Dance Teacher to join their team from September for the full academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through dance and creativity. The successful candidate must be confident teaching Dance to GCSE level. The ability to teach a second subject, ideally Geography or History, would be highly advantageous and could lead to a full-time timetable for the right individual.

The Role
Teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE Dance.
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and practical lessons that inspire creativity and performance.
Prepare students for assessments and examinations, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, performances, and school productions where appropriate.
Teach a second subject, ideally Geography or History, if able.
Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
Create a positive and well-managed learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community. The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Dance within a secondary school setting.
Must be able to teach GCSE Dance confidently.
Can teach Geography or History as a second subject (desirable).
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about the performing arts.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
