Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their busy accident repair bodyshop in Heathrow. You will inspect damaged commercial vehicles and produce accurate, compliant damage assessments using recognised estimating systems and standards.

Work to recognised standards using Audotex and BSI 10125 processes in a quality-focused environmentDuties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

Inspect and assess damage on a range of commercial vehicles, including LCV and HGV
Produce detailed costings and time estimates to support the full repair plan
Complete estimates professionally and consistently, following approved estimating processes using Audotex
Create damage assessments in line with BSI 10125 standards
Select appropriate repair methods based on vehicle condition and manufacturer/body build requirements
Work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times
Maintain high-quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable repair guidance is providedRequirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within the accident repair sector, with strong focus on accuracy
Competence using Audotex (or demonstrable experience with equivalent estimating processes)
In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle damage assessment across multiple makes, models, and body builds
Strong understanding of repair methods and estimating practices aligned to industry standards, including BSI 10125
Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
