We are seeking talented and motivated Repair Technicians to join our team based in Coventry (Cross Point Business Park). You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary and benefits program.
As our Repair Technician you will use your technical expertise to perform diagnostic testing and total repair of electronic units/devices.
Responsibilities as our Repair Technician:
Carry out tasks related to testing, device diagnosis and / or component replacement at the module level
Carry out the tasks entrusted by the immediate superior on the basis of job instructions and appropriate training
Participate in the process of continuous improvement of the service of the repaired product
Test and locate failures at the module level
Replace the diagnosed modules / components
Make decisions on further treatment of the repaired device
Help less experienced employees in the implementation of assigned tasks
Perform other tasks ordered by the Superior
What we’re looking for in our Repair Technician:
Technical Education (preferably electronic or IT)
Minimum 2 years of experience in the repair of electronic equipment
Proven competences in the field of electronics basics, component identification
Confirmed knowledge of the operated electronic equipment
Accuracy and reliability
Ability to effectively plan working time
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure of time and results
Ability to work in a team
Basic technical English (understanding the description of terminology used to describe faults)
Basic computer skills and Word, Excel software from Microsoft Office
Ability to repair components at the module level
