Key Responsibilities
* Provide general classroom support to pupils in the foundation phase as a Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant in Newport
* Work in partnership with the Class Teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities
* Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and academic skills
* Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
* Support pupils with additional learning needs and language requirements
* Contribute to the overall organisation and smooth running of the classroom in Newport
Requirements
* Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills for this Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant role in Newport
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children’s learning and development
* Available full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 3:30 pm)
