Basic Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
OTE: £65,000+ per annum (including callout and overtime)
Callout/Standby Earnings: £500 per week

Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lift Service Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) to join a well-established and growing lift company covering Sheffield and the wider Yorkshire region.

Commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Worksop, Doncaster, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Mansfield, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer:

*

Carry out planned servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs on a range of passenger lifts.

*

Diagnose faults efficiently and achieve first-time fixes wherever possible.

*

Record defects, manage parts requirements, and maintain accurate service documentation.

*

Participate in a fair and structured call-out rota, including evenings and weekends.

*

Work safely at all times, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements of a Lift Engineer:

*

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) – Essential

*

Full UK driving licence – Essential

*

Minimum 3 years' experience within lift service or repair – Essential

*

Good working knowledge of a variety of lift manufacturers and control systems.

*

Able to manage a service route of approximately 50–60 units across a local Yorkshire patch.

*

Live within a commutable distance of Sheffield and the surrounding area.
