Are you detail-oriented with a passion for laboratory work? We're working with a market-leading R&D organisation near Southampton who are looking for a QC Laboratory Technician to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge product and process development, supporting quality assessment and helping drive innovation.

The Role

You'll play a key part in the quality control laboratory, supporting the full product lifecycle through:

Sample receipt, preparation, analysis and reporting
Operating and calibrating laboratory equipment in line with SOPs and methods
Working to Best Laboratory Practice (BLP) standards
Assisting in the development and validation of new methods and procedures
Supporting ongoing product and process improvement activities

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Degree qualified in a suitable Science discipline (Chemistry preferred)
Highly detail-focused and organised
IT literate with strong data handling skills
A clear communicator with good time management
Experienced in laboratory environments (GCMS experience desirable but not essential)

What's On Offer

£17.89 per hour (PAYE)
35-hour working week (Monday to Friday)
Initial contract until the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of extension based on workload
