HGV Class 1 Driver – Ongoing Monday to Friday Work | Preston (PR2)

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Preston (PR2). This is an ongoing Monday to Friday role with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract with the company.

Job Details:

* Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (Collections Only)

* Location: Preston (PR2)

* Start Date: Immediate

* Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour + 28 days paid holiday

* After 12 weeks: £16.36 per hour + 28 days paid holiday

* Overtime paid at x1.5 after 40 hours (£24.54/h)

* Schedule: Monday to Friday

* Type: Ongoing work / temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out collection-only routes (no deliveries)

* Complete up to 10 collection stops per day

* Perform manual handling when required

* Ensure safe and compliant vehicle operation

* Complete paperwork and follow site procedures

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience

* Good knowledge of UK road networks

* Reliable and professional approach
