Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Proven experience in housing development, regeneration, or estate renewal projects.
  • Strong understanding of planning processes, property development cycles, and construction delivery.
  • Experience working with or alongside Estates & Facilities teams.
  • Financial acumen, with ability to build, interpret, and challenge development appraisals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Project management expertise, ideally aligned to RIBA stages and/or Prince2/APM methodologies.

Desirable

  • Experience in the public sector, local authority environment, or housing association.
  • Understanding of sustainability, net-zero carbon, and asset management strategies.
  • Knowledge of JCT, NEC, or other contract frameworks.
  • Degree or professional qualification in planning, development, surveying, real estate, or construction.
