About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and well-being.
You will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure that pupils receive the best possible educational experience, with a focus on enhancing learning opportunities, life skills, and emotional regulation.
Key Responsibilities
Organise and accompany pupils on off-site activities in accordance with supervision systems
Work as part of a team to support pupil well-being, emotional regulation, and personal development
Report on and discuss pupil progress with teachers
Contribute to curriculum and classroom planning, both informally and at meetings
Administer medication to children following appropriate training
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Understand and assist in the interpretation of school policies
Attend professional meetings as required
Undertake appropriate professional development
Support Health & Safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are adhered to
Perform other duties reasonably corresponding to the grading of the post
