We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Support Worker to join a busy Interventions Hub and Support for Families Team.
* £14.59 per hour
* 37 Hours Per Week
* 3-Month Contract
* Immediate Start Available
The Role:
As a Family Support Worker, you will work directly with children, young people and their families, supporting parents to build on their strengths and enhance their ability to promote their children's health, wellbeing and development.
You will be responsible for delivering family-focused support and interventions that improve outcomes for children and help families access appropriate services and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work directly with children, young people and families to provide practical and emotional support.
* Support parents to develop their parenting capacity and improve outcomes for their children.
* Deliver early intervention and preventative services to families in need.
* Assess family needs and contribute to support plans.
* Liaise with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated support.
Essential Requirements
* Experience working with children, young people and families.
* Understanding of safeguarding and family support principles.
* Flexible approach to working hours and service delivery.
* Full UK driving licence. Sole use of a vehicle for work purposes.
