The Opportunity
A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Operations Manager to oversee and drive performance across the UK facility.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for end-to-end operational delivery, leading multiple teams to achieve best-in-class performance across key performance indicators.
You’ll play a pivotal role in translating strategic objectives into operational results, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations across a multi-disciplinary team
* Drive performance across typically manufacturing KPI’s
* Ensure customer demand is fulfilled efficiently and on time
* Provide oversight of major projects and coordinate cross-functional delivery
* Own and deliver site revenue and operational performance targets
* Embed Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies across the operation
* Champion productivity, efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives
* Develop high-performing teams through strong leadership, coaching, and succession planning
* Ensure robust planning systems, including S&OP/SIOP and production scheduling
* Maintain high standards across quality, compliance, and facility management
About You
* Strong leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial operations
* Proven ability to manage and develop operational teams in a fast-paced environment
* Track record of improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
* Skilled in Lean / Six Sigma practices (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent experience)
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver against revenue and operational targets
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production planning, and operational analytics
* Hands-on, results-driven leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement
