Marble Talent are working with a growing and well-established building services provider who are looking to add an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to their team.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering excellent long-term career prospects, ongoing training, and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites throughout the Home Counties and surrounding areas, with occasional work in London.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems and associated mechanical plant equipment. This is a mobile role requiring a proactive engineer who can work independently while delivering a high standard of service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial gas appliances and systems
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
• Working on boilers, burners, heating systems and associated plant equipment
• Mechanical PPM tasks across multiple commercial sites
• Supporting mechanical services projects, including pipe fitting and air conditioning installations
• Ensuring all work complies with current gas safety legislation and industry standards
• Completing accurate service reports and documentation
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service
• Working collaboratively with fellow engineers and support teams
• Participation in an optional call-out rota
• Optional weekend overtime opportunities

Requirements

• Valid commercial gas qualifications (eg. CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience within a commercial gas engineering role
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the Home Counties and surrounding regions
• DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)

• CSCS
