An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Packing Line Leader for our award-winning client’s production site. Reporting into the Team leader this role would suit someone from a fast-paced production environment.
Own transport due to rural location but the company offers free parking, company uniform, PPE, pension, holidays, staff discount, annual pay increases, refer to a friend cash bonus scheme.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a production environment and can take responsibility for keeping a line running smoothly.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities of Packing Line Leader:
* Preparation of production for the next day
* Organisation of production
* Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Process Improvement
* Lead a small packing line, ensuring team members are working safely and efficiently.
Experience and Skills for Packing Line Leader:
* Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations
* Industrious and be able to work under pressure
* Good level of Accuracy and numeracy when completing records.
* Good knowledge of operating machinery
* Good standard of spoken and written English
* Current Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 12 months)
* Self-motivated and able to motivate staff.
* Basic IT skills including Excel and Word.
