The role:
We're recruiting a Deputy Operations Manager to support the delivery of a high‑performing, customer‑focused operation. You'll lead multiple teams, drive performance, and ensure service excellence across Scheduling, Supply Chain and the Helpdesk.
This is a key leadership role supporting the Operations Manager, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day delivery, strong stakeholder relationships and continuous improvement across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership - Line‑manage Scheduling, Supply Chain and Helpdesk teams, ensuring engagement and performance.
Performance Management - Deliver daily/monthly KPIs, monitor reports and ensure SLA compliance.
Operational Oversight - Oversee daily workforce planning, capacity, incident management and service delivery.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams, clients and supply chain partners to maintain strong relationships.
Continuous Improvement - Support new strategies, identify pain points and drive service enhancements.
People Strategy - Support recruitment, engagement, succession planning, talent mapping and performance development.
Customer Service Excellence - Ensure professional handling of customer contacts, complaints and complex issues.
Compliance & Audit - Ensure policies, procedures and audit requirements are met across all teams.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience leading and motivating teams in Customer Service, Call centre or Helpdesk Environments
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Innovative thinker with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
