Nursery Practitioner - Full time role starting September Wandsworth Town 7.30am - 5pm -£16.69-£18.00

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Nurse to join our early years team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. You will support children’s emotional, social, physical, and educational development while working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the highest standards of childcare are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum and reflect our school's values of curiosity, respect, and resilience.

- Support the individual learning needs of pupils, including those requiring additional support, ensuring an inclusive approach that promotes equal opportunities.

- Monitor and evaluate pupils’ progress through regular assessment and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respects diverse backgrounds.

- Support the social and emotional development of pupils through nurturing behaviour and structured activities. - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programmes that enhance pupil engagement and wellbeing. - Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, behaviour, and attendance in accordance with school policies.

- Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.

- Contribute to school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities that support the holistic development of pupils.
