Remedy Education are looking for a committed SEN / Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Ilford area of East London from September.
The school are seeking a confident and dependable candidate who can support pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behaviour needs. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building relationships with pupils, supporting emotional development and helping young people succeed in the classroom.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with SEN and behaviour needs throughout the school day
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Helping pupils stay focused, motivated and engaged in learning
Supporting communication, social skills and emotional regulation
Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
Helping manage behaviour in a calm and consistent way
Promoting independence, confidence and positive routinesThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience with children, young people or vulnerable adults
Have SEN, SEMH, behaviour support, youth work, mentoring or care experience
Be patient, resilient and confident
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be able to support pupils with a range of needs
Be available from SeptemberThe Role Offers:
£100-£117 per day
