Mechanical Fitter - Contract Role
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Start Date: Wednesday 17 June 2026
Duration: 6 weeks
Pay Rate: £28 per hour (CIS) + £50 per day accommodation payment
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support site works on an install of a specialised building. This is a hands-on role requiring high-quality fitting standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out mechanical fitting and installation works on a specialised building that will be used for testing.
Assemble, install and align mechanical components and equipment to high quality and safety standards.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics and specifications.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently within project timelines in a fast-paced site environment.
Conduct any maintenance, fault finding and adjustments to mechanical systems as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential).
Valid CSCS Card.
