ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in the Bradford area.

This is mainly a facilities maintenance role with a strong electrical bias, covering planned maintenance, compliance checks, reactive repairs and general site infrastructure. It would suit someone with experience across building services, electrical maintenance, large operational sites and wider facilities work. The focus is on keeping the site safe, compliant and operational across areas such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, BMS, dock levellers, roller shutter doors, generators, heating, ventilation and general building services.

The Role
As Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the day-to-day running of the site, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across building services, site equipment, compliance systems and general infrastructure.
Duties will include:

Carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs and maintenance across the site
Completing planned preventative maintenance and compliance checks
Supporting emergency lighting, fire alarm, sprinkler system and generator testing
Carrying out safe isolation and following LOTO procedures
Supporting fixed wire remedial work following EICRs
Working on building services including heating, hot water, ventilation and BMS
Supporting site equipment including dock levellers, roller shutter doors, balers and compactors
Completing risk assessments, maintenance records and safe systems of work
Supporting contractors and keeping internal teams updated on work progress
Helping to keep the site safe, reliable and fit for purpose About You
You will need:

Electrical maintenance experience within facilities, building services, warehouse, logistics, industrial or commercial environments
Recognised electrical apprenticeship, electrical qualification or equivalent practical electrical background
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Confident electrical fault-finding and repair experience
Good understanding of safe isolation, risk assessments and safe working practices
Experience with PPMs, reactive maintenance and compliance-related checks
Willingness to support wider facilities tasks, not just electrical work
Confidence working across a large operational site
Willingness to participate in a paid standby and call-out rota when required Useful but Not Essential

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalent
Experience with sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms or BMS
Experience with dock levellers, roller shutter doors, balers, compactors or similar site equipment
Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution site experience
Basic mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic knowledge Benefits
