Bristol, Bristol (County), United Kingdom
Construction
Immediate Start
£50k - £55k Annual
Full-Time - Remote
Estimator – Refurbishment & Fit Out

Location: Bristol (3 days remote working)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + £5,000 car allowance + package (negitiavble fro right person)

Estimator – The Company:

A well-established and growing main contractor with a strong reputation across the South West, specialising in refurbishment and fit out projects across commercial sectors. Projects typically range from £100k to £4m, offering a varied and fast-paced workload.

This is a business known for its flexibility, supportive culture, and modern approach to working – including 3 days remote working as standard. A great environment for an Estimator who wants autonomy, trust, and progression without being micromanaged.

Estimator – The Role:

A key position within the commercial team, responsible for pricing refurbishment and fit out projects from initial enquiry through to submission. You’ll be working closely with the wider pre-construction and delivery teams to ensure competitive, accurate, and commercially sound tenders.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad mix of projects, giving you real variety and exposure, rather than being stuck on repetitive schemes.

Estimator – Responsibilities:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates for refurbishment and fit out projects

* Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications

* Pricing tenders and building up rates from first principles

* Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes

* Building and maintaining strong supply chain relationships

* Assessing risk and value engineering opportunities

* Supporting bid submissions and tender documentation

* Working closely with operational and commercial teams throughout pre-construction

Estimator – Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within construction

* Must have refurbishment and/or fit out experience (non-new build essential)

* Strong ability in take-offs, measuring, and pricing

* Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Ideally some existing supply chain contacts

* Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders

Estimator – Why Apply?

* 3 days remote working – genuine flexibility, not just talk

* Varied project portfolio (£100k–£4m)

* Strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work

* Growing, forward-thinking contractor

* Clear progression as the business continues to expand

This is a standout opportunity for an Estimator in Bristol looking for flexibility, autonomy, and a strong pipeline of refurbishment and fit out work
