£53k - £53k Annual
Full-Time
HGV Technician - Days (4 on / 4 off)
£53,000 | Structured Shift Pattern | Work-Life Balance That Actually Works
If you're done with weekend work, constant pressure, or feeling like just another pair of hands, this role gives you the stability, respect, and pay your experience deserves.
About the Company
You'll be joining a long-established logistics and distribution business with more than 65 years in the industry. Built on strong family values and a reputation for reliability, they operate a modern, well-invested fleet covering the UK and Europe.
With transport, warehousing, and full supply‑chain services all under one roof, the workshop is central to keeping the operation running smoothly. Expect a professional environment, modern equipment, and a business that genuinely invests in its people.
What's on Offer
£53,000 salary - straightforward and competitive
4 on / 4 off day shift - predictable pattern, real balance
Modern, well-maintained fleet
A stable, growing company with long-term contracts
Supportive environment - not constant firefighting
The Role
You'll play a key part in keeping the fleet compliant, reliable, and ready for the road each day.
Completing routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and legal standards
Supporting fleet uptime across a busy transport operation
Working with autonomy and responsibility during your shift
What You'll Need
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proven experience as an HGV Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to manage your workload confidently
A practical, no-nonsense approach to getting the job done
Why This Role Stands Out
